ABOUT US

"WEBAlieve in a better West End." West End Beautification Association (WEBA) is a fully independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the aesthetic quality of life in the West End of Long Beach. While the West End has often been referred to as “the jewel of Long Beach,” WEBA sees it as more of a diamond in the rough—a precious commodity that must be polished, treasured, and protected. It is this conviction on which WEBA is founded: the dream of what the West End can be, and the dedication to making it a reality.

DESTINATION LI INITIATIVE

On August 14th a WEBA representative, along with about 30 Long Beach residents and civic leaders met with delegates from Destination LI.

The objective of this initiative is to gain feedback from the community regarding ways to improve Long Beach. Destination LI, a not-for-profit organization, is funding the establishment of a walk-in office and a Web site that will invite recommendations on potential projects, preferred new businesses and other enhancements.

Once this information is gathered it will be submitted to the town and investors for consideration and action. We will keep you informed of updates regarding this initiative.
